PUREPATH-CMBEVM: external I2S audio via J4 to connector J1

Part Number: PUREPATH-CMBEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5751MEVM

Refering the PUREPATH-CMBEVM daughterboard, rev. G.

The goal is to play external I2S audio via the J4 connector to the output of the TAS5751MEVM board.

To input external I2S audio via J4, the muxes 3,4,5,6 have to be set to pass the external I2S to connector J1.
This is shown in figure 35 of the PurePathConsole MB Users Guide slou366b on page 42.
The TLV320AIC3262 can be bypassed by switching the MUX3 select control signal to high and the MUX4, MUX5, and MUX6 select control signals to low by using the PPC; and adding jumpers between pins 1 and 2 of the header LRCLK, SCLK, SDIN, and MCLK pins.
The I2S header pins are used for three purposes: probing I2S signals coming out of PCM9211, bypassing I2S signals from TLV320AIC3262 and using the PCM9211 I2S signals, and bypassing I2S signals from the TLV320AIC3262 and using an external I2S source.
I have studied the documentation and schematics, but can you advice me how to achieve this?

kind regards, Leen
