SRC4382: SRC4382 signal path problem

Part Number: SRC4382

In order to keep the integrity of the digital inputs, could you please forward the signals coming from the DIR inputs and Port A I2S  directly to Port B without passing through the ASRC.How to configure the software?

  • Hi Sean,
Yes you can configure the SRC4382 to route the signal from Port A to Port B directly. I would like to test the configuration on an EVM before publishing the same to you and please allow me a day or two to test the config file and share the same with you.

    Thanks & Best regards,
    Ravi
  • Dear Ravi

        Thanks!

Also, for the S/PDIF signal from the DIR input, can it be output directly from the PORTB port without going through the ASRC?
The input from the PORTA port is the I2S signal, and the output from the PORTB port is also I2S. In this case, the input and output signal formats are the same.
But the input from the DIR is the S/PDIF signal, and the output from the PORTB port is I2S. In this case, the input and output signal formats are different.
