TAS5412-Q1: Can you un-mute the device without using I2C

I have an application that needs to have audio out capability immediately after power up and there will not be a processor available for a long period of time to write to the I2C port and un-mute the device.

Raising the Mute pin to a logic 1 does not un-mute the device as I had hoped.

Any suggestions?
