TLV320ADC3101EVM-K: EVM disconnected

Part Number: TLV320ADC3101EVM-K

Hello,

I'm trying to use the evaluation module TLV320ADC3101EVM-K. On the control software it says that the EVM is disconnected even though it is. I ran the software as Administrator and in compatibility mode (Windows XP Service Pack 3).

I also noticed that when I only power the USB-MODEVM the LED D2 lights up, but it doesn't when I connect the TLV320ADC3101EVM board to it. I don't know if it's related.

Thanks in advance for your help

  • Hi, Angeline,

LED D2 indicates USB communication, which suggests that connecting the ADC3101 daughter board is affecting the USB communication. This could be related to a problem with the EEPROM read by the TAS1020B device in the mother board. Please make sure that A2 switch on SW2 in the motherboard is set in OFF position, while having shorted  W11 in the daughter board. With this configuration, the correct EEPROM should be read by the USB controller.

  • Hello Diego,

Thank you for your answer, the problem came from the A2 switch as you mentionned.

    Best regards,
