SRC4192: Reset and CLK Q?

Part Number: SRC4192

When the device comes out of reset and there is no CLK (RCKI) present will the device property configure it self based on the control pins being pulled low and high, and then operate properly when RCKI and I2S data is present?

Thanks;

Leo

  • Hi Leo,
    I don't think the device can configure without the RCKI present.

    There is no internal POR for the SRC419x device. Hence the recommendation is to have the external reference clock present and then force the part to reset (by asserting the RST low for at least 500ns) and then bring the RST line to high. This guarantees reliable functionality of the device.

    Best regards,
    Ravi
