TPA2013D1: Are boost components needed?

If Vdd  is supplied from an external 5 volt supply, can VccIN be connected directly to Vdd eliminating L1,R1,R2, and the schottky diode?

    Hi Tom,

    Welcome to e2e.
    Yes, Vccin can be supplied externally. You must pull down /SDb to disable the boost. The rest of the conditions in the data sheet should be fulfilled so the device can operate correctly.
