3 questions about TLV320AIC3021

  •  Please provide the power up sequence requirement of TLV320AIC3021IYZFR if any? please also check if any boot up sequence concerned for us to use the same 1.8V for DVDD, IOVDD, HVDD & AVDD
  • customer speaker will change to 2pcs 1W/8ohm mono speaker , they will use 5V power circuit (U1122 related circuit on the schematic) for SPK_V & SVDD (on TLV320AIC3021IYZFR) and SPK_VDD (on TPA2011D1YFFR). So is there any power ramp up sequence requirement between SPK_V, SRVDD & SLVDD to 1.8V power domain (DVDD, IOVDD, HVDD & AVDD)?
  • Could customer use SW to shut down 5V power via SPK_SHDN for power saving even 1.8V domain is still on TLV320AIC3021IYZFR?

(Note : We use LOL & LOR with external AMP TPA2011D1YFFR to drive speaker and "SPKLP, SPKLM, SPKRP & SPKRM" is no used)

  • Peter,

    1. The power up sequence is the same for the AIC3262 and AIC3021. You can find this in the AIC3262 applications reference guide section 3.1.2. The supplies can be provided at the same time.

    2. This is shown in the diagram mentioned above.

    3. The recommended operating conditions state to provide at least 2.7V to SPK_V and SLVDD and SRVDD. failure to do so could cause internal current leakage. The current draw with the speaker output powered down is quite minimal.
