TPA3255-Q1: TPA3255-Q1 input audio signals

Hi all,

I´m designing a new audio amplifier based on the TPA3255-Q1, I want to configurate the device in PBTL mode like it is showed on paragraph 10.2.4 (page 28) of the data sheet device, my doubt is about how to connect the audio input signal on INPUT_A & INPUT_B, because I will like to apply a mono audio signal to the device, could it be possible? or should I convert this mono signal in a differential audio signal?

Hi Oriol,

Alix is correct. The TPA3255-Q1 device needs to have a differential signal. You can look at the TPA3255EVM to see how we created a differential signal using op-amps.
