TPA6140A2YFFEVM: TPA6140A2YFFEVM USB Driver Not Working

Hi,

I installed the software on a Windows 7 laptop and then plugged in the evaluation board. The driver did not install correctly and I couldn't interact with the board.

I tried running the software as an admin. I also tried running in Windows XP compatibility modes 2 and 3, all without success.

I also tried manually installing the driver from the install sub-directory. Same result.

I really need to get this working.

Does anyone have any suggestions please ?

Hi, Ian,

Could you try few steps in order to try to isolate the root cause?

Could you uninstall all the drivers and software and try again with the procedure of sections 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 of User's Guide?

Please ensure that the shunts described in section 2.1.2 are correct. Otherwise, you may have communication errors from the PC to the EVM.
