TPA3220: noise issues

Part Number: TPA3220

Hi, I have designed two PCBs using the TPA3220 both of which are working very well with one caveat

I have to make sure that the source driving the amplifier PCB is isolated in terms of its power supply or I get some horrible high frequency noise

I have no issue if I use a deice such as an iPad running off of a battery but obviously this doesn't help with the products I'm designing

All the products I have designed over the last 20 odd years have always had a single continuous ground plane and power rails derived off of the same input this is the first time in years I have had an issue of any kind

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what might be happening with this device and how it is interacting with the other devices
