    Jesse, 

    There are three audio jack switch devices.  The main difference is the level of feature set (think low, mid, high end) 

    TS3A226AE is the low cost version no I2C configuration ability just automatic detection and routing of the audio signals. 

    TS3A225E includes I2C control to manually configure the switches, adjust timing settings, read switch status for debug, etc. 

    TS3A227E includes everything above plus ability to detection key press detection (impedance changes) from a headset that has volume or play/pause controls.  Also includes Depletion FETs which eliminate potential floating ground when VDD =0V that can cause audible noise.
