dear :

   is TLV320AIC23B   can  configure the data format for mono playback and recording? because the input data is mono.  Thanks

    Hello Mick, 

    The TLV320AIC23B does not have a feature that allows for both DACs to play a mono sum of the data given.  It is also not possible to mix the LEFT and Right output after the DAC.  

    If it is possible I recommend having the host processor handle this.  (just play the same data on both data channels)
