TLV320AIC3105EVM-K: GUI on Windows 10

Part Number: TLV320AIC3105EVM-K

Hello,

We try to run TLV320AIC310xEVM-K Graphical User Interface (GUI) Software on Windows 10.

But error message about "Regsvr32.exe msi.dll" is popped up. Is this GUI SW available on 64bit Windows 10 PC or Is there Windows 10 version GUI SW?

Regards,

Mochizuki

  • Mochizuk-san,

The TLV320AIC310xEVM-K GUI is definitely showing its age.  I want you to know that we are currently in the process of updating this software, and we will be releasing version 2.0 soon.

does this error message pop up when trying to install the software?  or when trying to run it?

If this is when you are trying to install the software,  please right click the installer .exe and select "troubleshoot compatibility"  and follow the instructions from Windows .

on windows 10 you currently need to download the windows 7/vista drivers from TI.com, disable driver signature enforcement,  and then install the drivers.

Once we release Version 2.0 this will no longer be necessary.

    best regards,

  • Hi Steve-san,

Thank you so much for your quick reply.

The message is pop up while install the GUI SW.

I have tried Win10 "troubleshoot compatibility" instruction but it is not solved.

Where can I download the windows 7/vista driver on TI.com?

The purpose of AIC3105 evaluation is that we need higher gain for HP output.

Analog gain is up to +9dB but in our EE is needed another +10dB gain at DAC pre-processing Filter Block. We would like to apply +10dB all path filter and measure it.
