TAS5634: TAS5634 BTL 4 ohm speaker availability

Part Number: TAS5634

Hi!

My customer is designing Audio Power Amp using the TAS5634.

The specifications that the customer wants to set are PVDD 58V, 180W, THD 1%, 8ohm.

But the customer wants to use a speaker that drives 4 ohms. My customers have not yet fixed the output specification of the 4-ohm speakers.

1. Is it ok to use 4 ohms speakers when using the TAS5634 in a BTL configuration?

On the datast, the Min load is 5 ohms when BTL is configured.

2. If a 4 ohm speaker drive is available with a BTL configuration of the TAS5634, max power at 4 ohms THD 1%

Can you check it?

Please check it.

Thank you.

Best Regards.

From Anthony.
