Does the PVDD max spec of 56.5 V when RL > 6 ohm also apply to the 3255-Q1? It is mentioned in a note but not explicitly stated the way it is in the original 3255 spec.
We are looking at using the TPA3255-Q1 powered by a "48 volt" battery, which you probably know is actually a bit higher. We typically use a float charger at ~54 volts rather than a boost charger which can be near 58 volts. The battery voltage drops a bit once you put a significant load on it.
We were already planning to use the chip in PBTL config into a single 4 ohm load (nominal ~200 watts) to ensure we could handle the heat in a worst case application. I'd like to confirm that we can safely operate at 54 volts at reduced load and an OC_ADJ resistor value of 30 K.
Thanks,
