TAS5766MDCAEVM: The SNR of the EVM

Do you have the SNR test data of the EVM?

We are testing the SNR of the EVM, we tested analog in, digital in and external I2S input. We can only get -85 dBr . test result shown as below

Datasheet say SNR is 106dB. Any idea why there is gap between EVM SNR measurement -85 dBr and datasheet's spec 106 dB S/R?

SNR could be mosty impacted by noise. result which could be impact by noise. what is your gain setting and PVDD for noise measurement?

normally all datasheet value are based on EVM.

The gain is 20 and PVDD is 24V. Anything else we can check ?

hello PYTAI,

datasheet page8 had SNR reuslt for 20dB and 24V, it is 106dB.

Hi Linda,

Can you help share the test setup for how we measure the SNR on EVM?

Mentioned RC low pass filter.

Is RC low pass filter required in between AP and the EVM for SNR measurement ?

Hi PYTAI,

You need add AES-17 filter on AP setting selection. And you can run the test item SNR on AP.
