NE5532A: Is there a difference in power consumption between the NE5532 and NE5532A versions?

Part Number: NE5532A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: NE5532,

I changed the NE5532 for the NE5532A version. I noticed that the amount of current drained by the NE5532A was greater than with the NE5532. Placing a 1K test resistor on the IC power line, I realized a 3mA consumption for the NE5532 and 6.5mA for the NE5532. Both ICs are on the same circuit, but have different current drain. In the datasheet does not mention this difference, they should behave the same way, no?
