TAS5086: USB Error

Hello,

this topic was discussed earlier, but I have USB error trying to start HPL-MC012.

I found eepromburner.exe and tusb3210.bin ,before and after EEPROM reprogramming with this file TAS5086_GUI_4.0 starts with USB error.

I tried start this evaluation board with PC runing Win7 ( 64 bit ) and WinXP ( 32 bit ) - result the same.

Also tried install drivers form Devasys.com ( as recommended in TAS5086_GUI_4.0 Help ) - result the same.

Is some clear solution of this error or not ?

If no, what are possibilities of returning this evaluation board ( along with TAS5102EVMR1 ) as non operative product ?

It was purchased at Mouser .

Hello Customer,

Would you please try to install the driver again:https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio/f/6/t/761615?TAS5805MEVM-Connection-problem-between-PPC3-and-TAS5805M-EVM

Then please go to check Volume to see whether TI_Audio EVM is found or not.

thank you very much for answer.

No, after driver installation there is no TI_Audio EVM on my PC . I tested it on Win7 ( 64 bit ) so far.

Board is detected when USB cable is connected, but as Unknown device.

May be TUSB3210.bin file is not correct for this evaluation board ?

I read about EEPROM which is connected to TUSB3210 reprogramming here on forum, however there is no clear answer is this file correct or not.

After reprogramming SPDIF stopped receiving data ( LED6 SPDIF Lock is off ). So would be nice to obtain from you initial bin file which is programmed at TI .

By the way, I managed run eepromburner on WinXP ( 32 bit ) only. But this not a problem, I can do it on older PC.

And one more remark.

USB port in HPL-MC012 board is for I2C control of TAS5086, not for streaming audio from PC to TAS5086 .

So it wouldn't be an additional audio device on PC.

TUSB3210 here acts like a converter from USB to I2C.
