TAS5630: The power amplifier board made by TAS5630 appears strange phenomenon ...

Part Number: TAS5630

We use TAS5630 chip made a 2.1 power amplifier board. After connecting the sound source, power amplifier and 2.1 speakers, there is no sound in the speaker every time when it is turned on. We must extract the speaker once in the power on state and then plug it in then the speakers have sound. In addition, if we don't do anything to the speakers, the sound will appear for one second when the power is turnning off.
If only conected the subwoofer, there had sound in the subwoofer. If connected with 2.1(all the speakers), there is no sound in any speaker. We don't know why like this. and how to fix it? Please help us.
Please check the PCB circuit diagram in the attachment. Thank you very much.MICDO7GF.PCB

  • Hi,

When the power amp is power on and there is no sound, could you measure below pins voltage?

    RESET#, READY, C_startup.

Could you post your schematic here?

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Hao

  •  Hi,
         MR.Hao.thank you for your reply.
When the power amp is power on and there is no sound. The voltage of these pins is measured: "RESET#" is 3.15V.and the "C_startup"is 0V.and the "Ready" is 0.1V.
After i did that take off the connection lines of the speakers and puted them on again.the Sound comes.then the  "RESET#" is 3.25V.and the "C_startup"
is 3.25V.and the "Ready" is 11.33V.
I sent the schematic as PCB in the attachment.pls check it up.
thank you very much.have a goodday.

  • Hi,

When there is no output during power up, please check the voltage of SD/ and if there is any PWM output on the output.

If SD/ is low level, probably the problem is related to PPSC incorrectly triggered during startup. You may refer to Page 17 datasheet for more detail. Probe the waveform on OUTx pin(use RESET/ signal as trigger) will help a lot to know what happened.

Besides, could you post the schematic in pdf format? I can't open your attachment. Thanks!

    Regards,

    Hao

  • Hi MR.Hao

here is the PDF in the attachment.pls cheMICDO7GF2.pdfck it.thank you very much.
