TPA0211: TPA0211: Headphone in BTL Mode

Hi,

I am using TPA0211 for amplifying my headphone signals from the audio codec.

As per datasheet, a speaker is used in BTL mode and headphone is used in SE mode.

Is this a mandatory case? I prefer to connect headphones without bulky electrolytic coupling capacitors. Is it possible to connect the headphone jack in BTL mode?

Hi, Abhijth,

You can use both modes to handle the load that you require. We only suggest to ensure that the absolute maximum ratings and recommended operating conditions are respected. Otherwise, it may result in a risk to damage the device.
