TLV320ADC3001: Can the unit be sold with specific default values? Is there any way to implement in a "hostless" configuration?

My embedded project currently has no need for a host processor, is there a possible configuration for the TLV320ADC3001 which does not require a host to initialize the chip? Perhaps the miniDSP settings could be flashed at time of mfg or assembly? Otherwise, is there a simpler board solution which avoids the complexity of an additional microcontroller?

    Hi Nate,

    We have some simple hardware controlled ADCs such as the PCM1808 or PCM1860/PCM1861 that do not require a host processor to configure the ADC, but this is not possible with the TLV320ADC3001 or similar mini-DSP devices.
