PCM2706: Does it transfer and receive the same wave file through USB I/F?

Dear

I'm looking for USB to I2S bridge IC for Telechps AP's EVB.

Following figure is block diagram of our system.

On web-site, I found the datasheet of PCM2706. but I could't confirm somethings.

I have some questions to apply to our system.

1) Does it supports downloading wave file through SNOR ?

2) Does it transfer and receive the same wave file through USB I/F? I checked the mixed noise at other vendor bridge ic, on windows system

ex) I sent a data (0x0101) through USB I/F, but received data was not same on windows system. The received data was another value such as mixed noise.

Could you check the above questions?

    HI Daeseong,

    1. I do not know what "SNOR" is.  The device behaves as a USB peripheral, so I should be able to play anything that Windows is capable of playing.

    2. My understanding is that it does transfer the data exactly, but it is hard to guarantee that Windows is not modifying the data.  I am not sure if Windows adds dither or other effects to the digital audio during transmission. In addition, the volume would need to be 100%.
