Hi Rence,
You can find the factory test and calibration files in our repository along with the driver: https://git.ti.com/cgit/tas2557sw-android/tas2557-ftc/

Hi Ivan ,
How to install Factory Test Application for generate a bin file "tas2557_cal.bin".
Is integrated this tas2557-ftc driver into the source code, then build in the Factory Test Application into android device after download the image?
e.g. kernel/msm-4.9/.../tas2557-ftc/ , or vendor/.../tas2557-ftc/?
Thank you.
Jinjia Wu
Hi Jinjia,
the bin file is generated using PPC3. The End System Integration tool outputs several files including bin file.

Hi Ivan ,
I implemented the driver: git.ti.com/.../ ,and executed successfully.
But when I adjust the volume(adjust ring volume via volume key), the value "DevA Re" will change.
The value of each test is different (as shown in the picture).
I think the value should be not change on the same device.
How to judge whether the calibration data is correct?
Thank you
Jinjia Wu
Hi Jinjia,
What are the volume changes during the tests?
The volume should be set the same as during the speaker characterization.

Hi Ivan ,
The ring volume in Settings/Sound/Ring volume.
Now the value range of DevA Re is not large after we adjust the tas2557evm_aacspk_a.ftcfg. (8.28~9.27 ohm ==> 7.35~7.37 ohm)
But I find a new issue, tas2557 driver can not find the TAS2557 calibration files ,error msg as below:
12031 06-17 11:43:11.667 0 0 I tas2557 6-004c: TAS2557 calibration file = data/tas2557_cal.bin, handle = -13 12033 06-17 11:43:11.667 0 0 E tas2557 6-004c: TAS2557 cannot open calibration file: data/tas2557_cal.bin 12035 06-17 11:43:11.667 0 0 E tas2557 6-004c: Calibration 0 doesn't exist
And we are sure that the files exist in device.
Please help us to clarify the issue.
Thank you.
