PCM4222: Thermal Resistance Data and Max Junction Temperature

Hello. I am looking for the thermal resistance data and max junction temperature for this part. I see the max operating temperature per the datasheet is 85°C, is this ambient?

    Hi David,

    Yes you can see in the absolute maximum table 85C is the abs max ambient operating temperature, so the actual die temperature would be a bit hotter. As long as the ambient temperature limitations are respected there should be no issues with the die temperature under normal operating conditions.

    We do not have any thermal resistance data as this device comes in a QFN package without a thermal pad.
