Hi

With reference to this forum article, I also have a circuit wit the LME49990 in the circuit that I replaced with OPA1611. Simulation is showing great results. I would like to know if there are any better OpAmp devices with higher BW and lower Noise. It doesn't have to pin compatible. The requirement is -40° to 85° operating temperature, +-12V rail.

    Hello Stephan,

    The OPA1611/OPA1612 provides the best noise/bandwidth performance combination in TI's High-Performance audio op amp lineup. You can obtain higher bandwidth, but then the input voltage noise density increases. Input current noise density is also a factor, but usually more so when the source impedance is high. If the source impedance is low then a bipolar input audio op amp such as the OPA1611/OPA1612 is going to yield lower noise performance over a FET input op amp.

    Have a look at this TI Audio Op amps web page. You can scroll down the page and compare the voltage noise and bandwidth for the audio op amps. You can arrange them in order of lowest to highest noise, bandwidth, etc. and see how they compare.
