PCM2704: 192kHz alternate part

Hi team,

Good day.

Our customer is looking for PCM2704 alternative with sampling rate of 192kHz. They have chosen the PCM1690, however, the device has no on-chip USB interface. Is there a way on how to connect PCM1690 DAC to USB? Or do we have other available stereo DAC with USB and sampling rate of192khz? Checking our product list, our selection of audio DAC with this interface has a sampling rate of up to 48kHz only.

    Hi Carlo,

    Our portfolio of USB audio devices is pretty limited.  We do not have any USB input audio DACs that support 192k, nor do we have any USB audio bridge devices that support >48kHz (PCM2706 supports 48k). The selection on the market is pretty wide though.  There are some devices by Cmedia and SiLabs that's can do this, as well as the XMOS audio MCU, which we use on the EVMs.  We do not have a USB audio bridge reference design, unfortunately.
