Could you tell me how much power is planned in your application?

SmartAmp is mostly targeted in low power applications(like <10W). Thanks!

Hi Sam,

But TAS3251 is 175-W Stereo into 4 Ω in BTL Configuration，but Smart Amp only support 10-W?

Hi Kevin,

Smart amp can support >10W. In most cases, smart amp help to generate louder sound from small speakers. It's not very often to use it for high power speakers.

Hi Kevin,

Basically the speaker characterization/SPL data file could be measured and exported by the PurePath learning board, or obtained from speaker vendors.

Hi Sam,

The R&D has testing TAS3251 EVB and no issue.

So, R&D would like to know how to setting Smart AMP function for connect with Speaker for further functional evaluation.
