Is it feasible to connect TLV320AIC3007 to a 4 ohm speaker? What will happen if I do so?

    Hello Kian,

    The data sheet states that the speaker output is rated for an 8ohm speaker. We cannot predict behavior when a 4ohm speaker is connected but it can cause overheating and possibly trip the short circuit detect on the speaker outputs.
