TAS2562: TAS2562 settings for PurePath Console 3

Hi team,

Good day.

Our customer is using the  TAS2562 addon for PurePath Console 3 and found discrepancies between the software settings and datasheet as follows:

1. TAS2562 EVM Home -> Device Control -> Data Read -> Temperature: invalid convertion (always shows negative temperature ≈ -85℃)
2. TAS2562 EVM Home -> Device Control -> Channel Gain -> Boost Capacitance: show uH instead of uF
3. TAS2562 EVM Home -> Device Control -> Channel Gain -> Max Boost Voltage: invalid range (6 - 10 V instead of 6.5 - 12.5) and invalid convertion
4. TAS2562 EVM Home -> Device Control -> Channel Gain -> Peak Current Limit: invalid range (max 4.46 A instead of 4.01)
5. TAS2562 EVM Home -> Device Control -> Channel Gain -> Amplifier Level: invalid range (max 17.00 dBV instead of 18.00)

Please help verify these findings. Thank you

    Hello Carlo,

    I will get in contact with the PPC3 software team to adjust settings. PPC3 GUI has default ranges, so some minor discrepancies may present between the GUI and the datasheet. Thank you for presenting these discrepancies. During the mean time, if the customer would like to change certain device control parameters, they can change the register directly through EVM Home -> Register Map or by I2C commands in EVM Home -> Direct I2C.

    For example to adjust the Max Boost Voltage, customer can overwrite register 0x34 with 0xD for 12.5V
