Hi,

How do you set the digital clipper level? Is it base on the maximum load (speaker) voltage?

    He Jason,

    Usually, it is suggested to set analog gain to avoid PVDD clipping (assuming digital output is 0dBFS, then analog gain setting can make sure output peaking voltage is smaller than PVDD).

    Then, DVDD clipper level can be used to limit the output power on speaker less than design specification.
