TAS2505EVM: playback .wav file by using TAS2505EVM

Hello Experts,

My customer would like to playback .wav file on EVM because of listening test for TAS2505. Can TAS2505EVM playback .wav file  directly? If so, would you please tell me how to connect between EVM and PC? Also please tell how to configure the TAS2505? If customer output .wav file data from PC headphone output(analog signal), it inputs to Line-in of TAS2505EVM. Is it reasonable configuration for listening test of TAS2505?

    Hi, Fujiwara-san,

    The TAS2505EVM has an onboard TAS1020b, which actually works to translate the USB stream into I2S stream. The EVM is recognized as playback device and the customer can use it to play the wav file directly once the EVM is correctly configured by the GUI ( https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slac772 ). The customer just need to select the EVM as the default playback device.

    There's no need to connect the PC headphone output to the line inputs of the TAS2505EVM, but this can be made if customer is interested in testing the analog inputs of the TAS2505EVM.
