TLV320AIC3109EVM-K: TLV320AIC3109EVM-K :USB is not detecting for GUI.

Hi Team

USB is not detecting in the TLV320AIC3109EVM-K GUI. D2 (USB ACTIVE LED) is also not lighting up after connecting the USB cable to USB-MODEVM. We have tried to do MRESET and still, it is not detecting.

Kindly help us to resolve this issue.

Hello Jomin,

If LED D2 is not illuminated, can you please share the SW-2 settings on the USB-MODEVM? SW-2.1 - SW-2.7 should be LO and SW-2.8 should be set to HI.

The switch positions are correct and still, the issue persists.

Hello Jomin,

Can you please share images of the USB-MODEVM and the AIC3109 board? I would like to make sure the jumper settings are correct. Also, are you using Win10? if so, were you able to correctly install the GUI drivers? With Win10 you need to disable the driver signature enforcement?

Thanks for the response.

Yes, we are using Win 10. We were able to install all the drivers and using this GUI for the last 2 weeks. Later on, at one stage when we were trying to configure the GUI it is showing the "connect USB" box.
We tried MRESET on the board just before. So we worried whether it made anything wrong.

Hello Jomin,

It looks as if SW2.1 - SW2.8 are all set HI. Can you confirm? If LED D2 is not illuminated, I suspect SW2 is the issue.

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for the support. This was an issue with the SW2 switch positions. We kept the switch positions in the default state and after an established connection, we adjusted for our requirement. This resolved my issue.
