Hello,

We are looking at cross reference requirements for the AK4628 for both commercial and automotive applications. What CODEC can TI recommend as a replacement or upgrade?

    The PCM3168A and the PCM3168A-Q1 are commercial and automotive, multi-channel CODECs that are a great replacement option for AK4628. The PCM3168A is the only multi-channel CODEC available with a 6-channel, 107dB SNR ADC and an 8-channel, 112dB SNR DAC.

    The PCM3168A also offers an ADC sampling rate range of 8kHz – 48kHz and a DAC sampling rate range of 8kHz – 192kHz.
