ADC5140EVM-PDK: Analogue Mic and Digital MEMS Mic Data to Windows Laptop through USB together Possible?

Part Number: ADC5140EVM-PDK

Can the EVM of ADCx140EVM-PDK can get the analogue Mic and Digital MEMS mic data to the Windows Laptop through USB together? I am trying to get the raw mic(s) data for a headset product for the post algrithom development. If yes, how many analogue mic(s) + digital MEMS mic(s) data can be simulatanously transfered to Windows laptop through USB and if the USB stream ASIO compatible on Win10 64bit?

  • The TI USB Audio Driver takes the output of the ADCx140 TDM bus and sends it to the PC through USB. The data sent is the digital output after digitizing and decimating to the output sample rate. This data transfer supports up to the 8 channels of the ADCx140. The data is generated from any of the analog input channels or digital microphone. This data is not the raw format generated by the digital microphones (it is decimated down to the sample rate). Also it is not the analog input data, since it is digitized and converted to digital format.

You can use Audacity with its WASAPI driver or any other Windows program that supports ASIO compatible streams.

    Best regards,
