SRC4190-Q1: Question about Clock

Part Number: SRC4190-Q1

Hello Team,

I have some question about clock.

Q. If the both port operate in Slave mode, We don't need input RCKI. Is it correct?

Q. In the Table 1, (MODE2,MODE1,MODE0)=(0,0,0) and (1,0,0) is completely same setting?

Q. For BCK, LRCK, SD timing, Are these timing parameter common in each slave mode and master mode?

Thanks,

Yuta Kurimoto

  • Hi Yuta,

RCKI is always required, even if both ports operate in slave mode. It also needs to be a valid multiple of either the input or output port sample rate as described on page 17 of the datasheet.

The slave mode settings are the same, MODE2 pin is 'do not care' in this case.

Yes the timing parameters apply to slave and master mode.

    Best,

    Zak
