TLV320AIC3105: Initial setting for TLV320AIC3105EVM

It looks like the drivers are correctly installed and the USB-MODEVM connected to the PC as indicated by D2 being illuminated. 

Can you send an image of the Hardware ID? To find hardware ID, go to Device Manager > NI-VISA USB Devices > Right-Click and Properties > Click on Details Tab > under drop down, select hardware ids

Can the customer please delete and reinstall the drivers? During the process, they should also restart the PC.

Customer delete all driver and reinstall as below procedure. Bus he cannot run EVM

1. Re-install NI-VISA driver and restart PC
2. Re-install USB-MODEVM Windows XP/Vista/7 Driver and restart PC
3. Re-install TLV320AIC310xEVM-K and restart PC
4. cannot connect EVM and PC..

He tried two TLV320AIC3105 EVM but both EVM has same issue. Do you have documents for customer to refer re-install? I found https://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/6/How-to-Revive-a-USB-Audio-EVM.pdf. Will it useful for this situation? Or should user use windows 10 OS?

Which information is correct?

2)  TLV320AIC3105EVM  JMP2. Default setting in EVM set "Installed" but the manual (https://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/pdf/SLAU217A) shows Open as default position.
Should user set "Installed" or "Open"?

3) Will above (1) and (2) help for currently issue?

Hello Nagata-san,

The USB-MODEVM I have here follows Table 2 jumper settings. I believe the JMP2 on the USB-MODEVM connects AGND and DGND together but if this is already done on JMP1 on the AIC3105EVM, then this shouldn't matter. 

What version of  NI-VISA is being used?

Is it possible that there may be some program restrictions on customer's PC? I would recommend running the GUI as administrator as well. 

I do not think the USB-MODEVM needs to be revived but if there is still no connection established, I guess it wouldn't hurt. For the AIC310x EVMs, the procedure is the same but there is a different firmware that needs to be used. If attempting the revive, please use the attached .bin files and please follow the procedure very carefully.

Could you please let  me know how to use the EEPROM Programmer for USB-MODEVM?

Will  it work by running DFUTEST.exe under connecting PC to USB-MODEVM?
