Hi team,
I have a question coming from a customer.
For the PCM4204, do the analog inputs (VIN1, VIN2, VIN3, and VIN4) correspond or relate to the LRCK in I2S mode in anyway? If so, how?

Hey Lauren,
I'm not sure I understand the question. The VIN pins are analog inputs and LRCKI is the clock used to differentiate between left and right channels, i.e. which data corresponds to which input. The LRCK is not impacted by what happens on the inputs, that is the role of DOUT.
Best,
Zak
Hi Zak,
He wants to know which inputs correspond to LRCK being low in I2S mode
Thanks,
Lauren
Hi Lauren,
CH1 and CH3 will be slotted into the "L" slots in the SDOUT1/2 respectively and CH2 and CH4 will slot into the "R" slots in SDOUT1/2.
Low = Left, High = Right for the LRCK (WCLK) in I2S.
