DRV5825P: Register map of datasheet and ppc3 are different.

Hi TI experts,

The register map is different as shown below.

I can't control 0x35 with ppc3. And the Register Field Descriptions of 0x31 are different from PPC3 and datasheet.

What is correct?

Hi Downey,

1. The register description of 0x33,0x34 on PPC3/datasheet has the same content, only difference is the name.

2. You can write or read 0x35 by using direct I2C feature of PPC3.

Hi Downey,

Please follow the datasheet description. The DRV5825 PPC3 GUI could be based on other projects and the software team may forget to make the change. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Hi Downey,

Sorry but we don't have dedicate document for DRV5825P. I would suggest two ways,

1. Use PPC3 GUI, record the I2C commands when you change anything in the GUI;

2. Refer to TAS5825 process flow document.
