The current program is a preliminary POC, the kernel version used on our evaluation board is Linux sa515m 4.14.163 #1 PREEMPT Thu Nov 19 11:36:20 UTC 2020 armv7l GNU/Linux. Can you please provide corresponding Linux drive of such chip or certain experience of combining this chip into Linux drive?

Hello Pei,

There is not a TI.com Linux driver for the TLV320AIC310x family of devices of which the TLV320AIC3109 and 6PAIC3109TRHBRQ1 comes from.

However, even better, there are publicly available upstreamed drivers in the main git.kernel.org libraries. The links for two common Kernel builds are linked below and the desired drivers are the "TLV320AIC3x" driver.

Hello Rofeo,

The TLV320AIC3x driver is the one we recommend to all of our customers who use the AIC310x devices. The AIC3007 is mentioned which is a spin of the AIC3107 which is a superset device to the AIC3109-Q1. You'll find some extra registers for the class-d drivers and additional inputs/outputs that the AIC3109 does not feature.
