Hi Gust,
MQA is really more of an encoding, rather than a hardware limitation. If you are using MQA, then you just need a high-performance device that supports moderately high sample rates. Take a look at the PCM5242, PCM5142.
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Paul,
Thanks again for your help. So Can I understand our PCM5242 and PCM5142 support MQA? These two chips can parse audio files in MQA format. Is it correct?

Hi Gust,
MQA is not a format on the hardware level, only a software encoding and compression format. Once the file is decompress by the host PC or CPU, it will be converted to I2S, PCM, or DSD on the hardware and should be at a high sample rate 192kSPS - 384kSPS. The PCM5x42 can support 32-bit, high-sample rate I2S, so it should work in this application.
Thanks,
Paul
