We are currently using an AKM5357 in a production application. They had a fire, as you probably know. We need a similar part to replace the socket in a re-design of the board. It is a 20-user in our application and EAU for the application is 10,000 (i.e. 200,000 parts). We are operating the part at ~2.5ksps (below spec of 4ksps and up). Are there any concerns with operating the 1801 at this rate as we need to be compatible with other parts of the existing system. We are also using the part in the 32-BCK/LRCK format, left-justified to output 16 bits for each input channel.
Also, can TI support this volume. The clock is ticking on us.
