looking for audio DAC solution

Dear team,

Customer is looking for audio DAC solution which support DAC (2-4 output channel) and ADC (Aux in). 

And DAC output power is 10-20W  per channel. (need to support tweeter/woofer/midrange frequency separation)

Could you provide your suggestion to implement this application? thanks.

    Hi Ben,

    You have a few options here:

    1. You could use a discrete DAC, ADC, and amplifier.

    2. You could use a CODEC (DAC+ADC) and amplifier

    3. You could use an ADC and digital input amplifier (TAS devices).

    Given that most these requirements are for the output amplifier, I will move this to the amplifier team for an initial recommendation.

    for CODEC solution, did we have solution can drive 10w speaker?

    Hi Ben,

    At the time of this posting we do not have a 10W CODEC and the highest output powers of an integrated CODEC are roughly 2.5W into a 4Ω load.  I recommend following one of our CODECs with an analog input Class-D which meets the 10W requirements.
