TAS2560: TAS2560 Datasheet

Part Number: TAS2560

Hi ti team,

When I was looking at the ti TAS2560 Datasheet, I did not understand PLL_CLK. The specification says The PLL output needs to be configured between 100 MHz and 200 MHz, but For example, PLL_CLK should be 49.152 MHz for 48 kHz sampling rate, isn’t the two conflicting?  The following screenshots

  • Hi Switch,

The information about the restrictions were most likely taken from another device as reference. We'll take note of this error and will fix it in the next revision.
Correct information is explained in the examples. The output of the PLL should be 1024 times Fs.

In all cases, it is recommended to use PPC3 to generate the required configuration based on your settings.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best regards,
