PUREPATHCONSOLE: Problem with downloading the EVM apps

Hi TI,

We fixed the PPC3 recently and we have problem with downloading the EVM apps.

I noticed there is an alert to prompt you for downloading the latest update, but it is always "Failed to Download" regardless of the network.

Because I tried the download at the office, as well as at home, both are failed.

Please advise.

    Have you tried to download the new version directly from mySecureSoftware instead of trying to update within PPC3 itself? You can uninstall your previous version and replace it with the new one.

    What is the version you're currently using?
    You're not able to see your apps available for download when you log into PPC3?

    There is an alert popped up once i logged in the PPC3, so I tried to follow the pop up to download the update and it failed.

    Sorry that I am quite confused with your message, which item should i check the version?

    How to check the version? I think you are not talking about the PPC3, right?

    Please list out detail steps, then i can follow what to check.

    Let me elaborate on my comments below:

    • Regarding the version, you can check this by clicking on the button at the top left corner, then "About" option
    • Regarding mySecureSoftware, you can access using this link and your myTI account, here you can download latest PPC3 version: mySecure Software | myTI | Texas Instruments

    Thank you for showing me this step by step details. I greatly appreciated!

    For the PPC3 version, I am using the V3.1.3 Build 255, i recently uninstalled the old one, then download and reinstalled again.

    Good to know that mySecureSoftware page is available for me to access.

    Alright, let me try this out and see if this can be fixed.

  • Hi Ivan,

    I downloaded and use the install package from the mySecureSoftware, the alert is gone and the TAS5825M shows up.

    This EVM works fine, so what if I use other EVM in the future? How can i find the other EVM apps?

    Please advise. Thanks!

    You can request access to each device app by going to its product folder and looking for the request form, like this example:
