PCM2903C: PCM2903C --sound card device name

Hi Ti Team,

I use PCM2903C as a sound card, because a computer has 4 PCS PCM2903C, so I need to modify the sound card device name, but I don’t understand how to modify it? Please advise!

Hello,

While it was possible at one time, it is no longer possible to modify the hardware descriptors in the PCM29xx devices.

Thank you for your reply，I have another question,as follow：

The computer can recognize 4 sound cards, but currently only 3 sound cards can be turned on at the same time, and the 4th sound card cannot be turned on

Hello,

I'm not sure we've ever tried to connect more than two of these at a time. Have you tried other computer setups to verify it's not a hardware / OS limitation?
