TPA3255EVM: 40kHz 2 volt at the output - 2ohm

Dear Sirs,

I am using TPA3255EVM 1channel PBTL.

At the output I observe always a spurious of about 40kHz 2Vpp. How can I remove the spurious?

The spurious is at about 400kHz, not 40kHz

Hi Gian,

Oh you meant 400kHz and not 40kHz! Did you set the TPA3255's switching frequency to be 450kHz? Also are you using the EVM or your own board?

I suspect that this might actually be the ripple caused by the switching frequency of the device. I would recommend taking a look at the LC Filter Design App note for a better explanation of what ripple is.

Hi Gian,

What is the switching frequency you are testing under with the device? If it's 450kHz could you switch it to 600kHz to see if the ripple changes as well?
