I would like to know if there is the possibility to automatically detect the nature of the input signal (Mono / Stereo) to have the device outputting Mono or Stereo audio accordingly ?
What I would basically like to do is, at the end of the amp, have two audio channels : one L/Mono and one R. I would like the amp to detect that, if only one speaker is connected, it should output mono, and when the second speaker is connected, it should output stereo. It seems to act like that in many audio devices but I can't manage to find how they make it work internally.
