TAS2562: Question for /SDZ pin

Part Number: TAS2562

Hello Expert.

I'd like to know about the specification of SDZ pin.
Would you tell me following specifications?
・Sink current when SDZ is high?
・High level logic level's minimum value and typical value

I'm looking forward to haring back from you.

Best regards,
Kazuki Kuramochi

  • Hi Kuramochi-san,

Regarding logic level, please refer to the table below from data sheet, typ value is VDD itself:

I'll have to check if there is any log data about sink current.

  • Hi Ivan-san,

    Thank you for your support.

Is there any update regarding sink current?

Also you said typical high level of SDZ is VDD.
Does it mean there is possibility that SDZ never work when it is applied not only 0.65xVDD but also VDD?
This is question is from SDZ pin's absolute maximum voltage is VDD+0.3 so it's seems margin is small.
Moreover my customer observed SDZ don't react when pin voltage reached at 0.65xVDD.

  • Hi Kuramochi-san,

No sink current data I could locate.
As long as SDz pin voltage is higher than 0.65xVDD the device should come out of hardware shutdown mode.
I meant VDD voltage itself is what is usually used to pull SDz pin.

Can you provide the data showing the test on 0.65xVDD used on SDz pin? Is there any reason the pin cannot be pulled to VDD instead of some lower voltage?

    Best regards,

  • Hi Kuramochi-san,

Do you have any further information about the test with 0.65xVDD on SDz pin as mentioned last time?
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
