    Hi, Kato-san,

    I would recommend to take a look at the TLV320ADC3101. It is an audio ADC which can support digital microphone (PDM) input and I2S/PCM/LJM/RJM/TDM output.

    Hi Luis,

    Tagging along to this thread since my question seems very similar to it.

    If I were to have 4x digital mics, could I still use TLV320ADC3101? I noticed that on the datasheet that there is only one digital mic input.

    Is it possible to use the other analog mic inputs?

    Our end goal would be to convert 4x PDM mems microphones and process the audio to I2S which would then be brought to the host.

    Hi, Joey,

    The TLV320ADC3101 only supports up to two digital microphones. In case of require more digital microphones, you would need to use an additional TLV320ADC3101. If you are looking for a device with enough capabilities to support up to four digital microphones, you may take a look at the TLV320AIC3268. This is our audio codec with best miniDSP capabilities and functions. However, regarding the price, it would be better to use two TLV320ADC3101 (1.35 | 1ku) against one TLV320AIC3268 (4.98 | 1ku).

    A quick update to an older thread.

    The TLV320ADC3140 is a strong choice for PDM to TDM.  This device supports up to 8 PDM microphones or 4 analog inputs. it also supports combinations of analog/digital inputs. 

    8 PDM inputs OR

    1 analog input and 6 PDM inputs OR

    2 analog inputs and 4 PDM inputs OR

    3 analog inputs and 2 PDM inputs OR

    4 analog inputs
