TAS5630PHD2EVM: TAS5630PHD Evaulation Module heat sink

Part Number: TAS5630PHD2EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA3255, TAS5630

Dear All,

Presently, I am working on the design of parametric speakers.

For the same, I am modulating the audio signal using your dsp i.e. TI 320c5505 EVM and the output of the dsp is given to the amplifier i.e. TAS5630PHD Evaulation Module. The output of the amplifier then goes to the ultrasonic emitters which are speakers in our case.

The problem is that, the TAS5630PHD IC on EVM gets very hot and power dissipation increases with time. My EVM does not have a heat sink. I have below doubts:

1. Will this problem gets solved if I order EVM with heat sink?

2. If yes, please send me the link through which I can order TAS5630PHD Evaulation Module with heat sink.

3. Is there any other alternative for TAS5630PHD Evaulation Module?

4. What is the gain of the amplifier used in TAS5630PHD Evaulation Module? I didn't find it in datasheet?

I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks and regards,
Satyajit
